Happy Independence Day

Like last year, we celebrated the 4th of July at our house. We squeezed family into every nook and cranny for sleeping. My mom, Alan's parents, his sister, and her 4 kids all came for the long weekend. Her husband, Jason, got called to Poland to work at the last minute and wasn't able to join us for the fun. There was never a quiet moment!
Roger made these balance boards for the boys' cub scout troop. We all had a good time trying to balance on them. Some of us were able. Some of us fell on our bottoms. I won't name any names here, Andrae :)

Waiting for the parade to start.

Here it comes!

The cousins at the beach. This was a great way to cool off and expend some of that extra energy that kids always seem to have.
